I'm mike benner.

I'm a writer, producer, editor and podcaster. I have written for Fox, Disney, Comedy Central, Netflix, the BBC, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, Super Deluxe, and more. I recently served as executive producer and showrunner of “That Lion Show,” an adult animated series available now on the Roku Channel. I also co-wrote this year’s “Destroy All Neighbors,” a horror comedy movie available on Shudder, AMC, VOD and, hilariously enough, VHS. I used to have a pretty popular podcast about basketball called Air Buds. Before moving to Los Angeles, I was a newspaper reporter in Philadelphia, and I’ve provided bespoke copywriting services for clients like Google, Netflix, NBC Universal, WarnerMedia, and more. I also like cooking, dogs, skateboarding, sculpting little freaks out of clay, traveling, and I once got Quavo to say, “Quavo knows the novels of Nicholas Sparks.”
